Vintage black satin boxing robe with white felt letters, from team Wheelsus Field Tripoli. Wheelus Air Base, located near Tripoli, Libya, was established by the United States Army Air Forces during World War II in 1943. Originally named Mellaha Airfield, it was later renamed Wheelus Air Base in honor of Lieutenant Richard Wheelus in 1948. Exact date of this robe is unknown. 

There are some marks on one pocket and there is no belt but other than that in beautiful condition. 

Length: 122cm from sholder to bottom hem. Sleeve circa 62cm, loose fit.
